Background Experience

This past summer, I interned at 13WHAM News as a part of the NYSBA Summer Internship Program, where I gained hands-on experience in local journalism. I shadowed reporters in the field, practiced writing and voicing VOs, created a full news package, and published web stories for the station's site.

Whether I'm writing scripts or pitching feature ideas, I'm drawn to the power of storytelling. I'm especially interested in the sports side of journalism.

Throughout this school year, I have been interning at ESPN Ithaca. I contribute to local sports coverage by researching storylines, writing segments, and helping produce content for shows like "Between the Lines." I also assist with on-air preparation and game coverage, gaining hands-on experience in sports media production and storytelling.
